Great Overall

My boyfriend and I eat here every chance we get. Even during this recession, we don't spend a lot. If you go during lunch hours, overall price is half what you'd pay for dinner. I'm vegetarian and I eat for only about $12. Although, I wouldn't recommend getting the deep friend tofu (or the plain tofu). They don't flavor it, so it retains tofu's normal taste and texture. Also, for vegetarians, I have been able to get the appetizer miso soup without its usual beef or chicken broth, but you need to ask and be clear what it is you'd like.

Pros: Vegetarians eat cheap, lunch cheaper than dinner, entertains

Cons: tofu is less than desirable, need reservations for dinners

Gets Better EVERY time, Japanese Steak House to Revisit!!

The food was perfect. You also can't beat cooking in front of you I ordered a simple Shrimp&Chicken combo and myfriend had steak and shrimp. They bring a nice palette cleansing soup to begin the meal. The drinks are served and the show begins, the chef comes, cooks in front of you (while putting on a show) and serves you this may include tossing a shrimp into the mouth of one of the guests or tossing the egg shells into his hat. The shrimp isn't chewy, it's tender and succulent, same for the chicken. All the meals come with vegetables, and ginger and soy sauce. The vegetables are tender with lots of flavor. They serve many different sauces and you can order any type you require. Lots of very tastey beverages. Cooking in front of you is fantastic, the chef always does a great job, doing tricks with knives and fire. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and the chefs looked as if they enjoyed it as well, the cleanup is quick and easy for the chef, he is very personable and friendly throughout the meal. It's great dining experience, and they cooks always funny. The restaurant is very clean. Families love it here and it's well worth the money.

Pros: Fun for parties and great to do with friends.

Cons: Not choosing this restaurant for gatheringss, would be a mistake.

Good Sushi

I recently ate at Kyoto Steakhouse and sat in the sushi bar. The place was very busy in the back for the tepanyaki. The sushi side was very quiet. Which was fine :-) I ordered mostly salmon and tuna. Both were awesome! The service was basic and the place is small with very little flair. But definitely worth a trip to try the sushi, tempura, or other. I would recommend. Hai!

Pros: sushi, quiet place

Cons: needs a little flair
